I was watching a DJ set one day and was thinking about how cool it would be if they had a snake draped across their shoulders. My first immediate thought was that the noise was too much for the snake’s little ears, but snakes don’t have ears like you and I; they lack the outer and middle ear so all sounds are muted. Even so, the snake could be rescued and entirely deaf as well and still enjoy the low vibrations of the bass in the music.

At that moment, DJ Deaf Snake was born.
